What is NMN?
NMN, also known as Nicotinamide Mononucleotide, is a natural compound derived from niacin (vitamin B3) and serves as a precursor to NAD+, a vital molecule found in all living cells. In essence, NMN functions as a natural supplement aimed at elevating the levels of NAD+ within your cells. NAD+ plays a crucial role in cellular energy production, but its levels naturally diminish with age. By supplementing and enhancing NAD+ levels, we can potentially boost our energy generation and rejuvenate our cells to function akin to their youthful state. -
What is NAD?
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme present in all cells, vital for energy production and DNA repair. It supports mitochondria in converting nutrients into ATP (our energy currency), while also helping manage oxidative stress and regulate gene expression. NAD+ levels decline with age, potentially affecting metabolism and vitality. Supporting NAD+—through lifestyle habits like exercise and balanced nutrition or via supplements—can help maintain energy, cognitive performance, and overall health.
